The handpieces of Minimo ONE SERIES Ver. 2 (5 PIN Connector) cannot be used with older power packs, and you need the power packs of Minimo ONE SERIES Ver. 2
On the other hand, the power packs of Minimo ONE SERIES Ver. 2 (5 PIN Connector) can be used with older handpieces.
Please refer to the compatible table for more details.

We can consider some causes that handpiece is not working.
Please check the following procedure to improve the conditions of handpieces. Even if the condition is not improved, please ask for repairing to sales shop or Minitor.

◎Conditions
1. The handpiece does not work even though switch is on, but it starts working if the tip of handpiece is given light impact.
2. Overload lamp on power pack is on.
3. The handpiece starts working, but immediately overload lamp turns on.
4. The handpiece repeatedly starts and stops working.
5. The power may not be on.

Countermeasures
1. Changing the carbon brushes
Please refer to 【5. Changing Carbon Brushes】on the manual of mortor.
2. Please turn main power off and wait for about 30 minutes because there is a possibility the temperature fuse in power pack is working.
3. Please check if the detachable ring is open (to the "R" side).
4. Changing the carbon brushes
Please refer to 【5. Changing Carbon Brushes】on the manual of mortor.
5. Please check the fuse and change the fuse if it blows.
Please ask for repairing if the conditions are not improved by changing and checking.

The detachable ring might be too tight to turn if the collet chuck on the tip of head is loosened.
In this case, please tighten the collet chuck with the procedure as following. Please ask for repairing if the condition is still not improved.

1. While the head is being fixed to the motor, turn the head cover on upper part of detachable ring to direction "R" to loosen twice.
(Use slip resistance such as rubber gloves if it is too tight to turn.)
2. Turn the detachable ring to direction "R" to open the collet chuck.
3. Make sure the collet chuck is open, and tighten the head cover.
4. Tighten the collet chuck with dedicated V spanner.

We can consider some causes of heating.
Please check the following procedure to improve the conditions of handpieces. Even if the condition is not improved, please ask for repairing to sales shop or Minitor.

Long time use
⇒ Stop the handpiece and cool it down.
Make sure the temperature of handpiece fails when using the handpiece again.

Use in overloading condition
⇒ Stop the handpiece and cool it down.
Make sure the temperature of handpiece fails when using the handpiece again.
※There is a possibility not to match performance of handpiece and working content if the overloading often happens.
Please feel free to ask Minitor to select proper handpiece for your work.

In case handpiece has trouble
⇒ Ask for repairing.
We consider handpiece has a trouble and/or bearing is broken if the handpiece becomes too hot in short time without overloading and operating for long time.
In case that working handpiece makes noise and vibration without heating, please ask us for repairing without delay.

Please refer to followings if there is no manual on the download page.

1. Turn the detachable ring to the direction "R" till hearing click and remove SENTAN TOOL.
2. nsert the test bar, match triangular hole of V spanner with the collet chuck, turn the V spanner to a counterclockwise with tip of head in upper position and loosen and remove the collet chuck.
3. In case that you cannot loosen due to idling, take off the head from the motor, insert presser plate of joint shaft into the cross cut, fix the rotation shaft and loosen the collet chuck.
4. Insert the exchange collet chuck with keeping the detachable ring in position "R" described as above 1., remove the presser plate of joint shaft and insert the test bar instead and screw the collet chuck with V spanner till idling. Over-fastening using presser plate of joint shaft with fixing shaft causes damage.
5. Attach the head to the motor.
*Please insert the test bar with proper diameter or shaft of SENTAN TOOL for loosening and tightening collet chuck. If not, collet chuck can be damaged due to twisting.

A. In long-time use, rotation of motor can become unstable intermittenly or stops.
Please refer to "changing carbon brushes"of motor on the manual.
Notice: Please change the carbon brushes as a set (2 pieces) and be careful not to damage film for lead wire when changing the carbon brushes.
Please select proper motor for your work.
Please refer to "Examples of combination depending on applications".

The rotation speed at the position of control knob differs with handpieces.
Please check the model of handpiece you are using and refer to a guide for control knob and rotation speed.

A. It is possibly caused by not using for a long time, activating hand switch slowly and not driving point by insufficient lubrication.
In many cases, the work marker might work by light impact to the point in condition air is provided.
Even if not vibrating yet, please ask for repairing to sales shop.
